What does CT Outdoor Pros do?
We are a Raleigh-based landscaping, sod, and landscape design company owned by Christopher Trejo. We handle drainage and grading, sod, gravel driveways, patios, walkways, walls, stone, mulch, planting, stump removal, landscape design, lighting, water features and koi ponds, and rain and bog gardens.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the Greater Triangle from a Raleigh base: Raleigh, Knightdale, Garner, Wendell, Zebulon, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Clayton, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and Durham. If you are just outside those areas, send the project details and we will let you know if it is a fit.
How do I get a quote?
Use the project planner on this site or text a few photos to (919) 454-7678. We will review what you send, ask any questions, and schedule a walk-through. Every quote is based on the actual site—access, grade, materials, and whether drainage needs to come first—and you get it in writing.
Do I need to be home for the walk-through?
Not always. If the gate is unlocked and pets are secured, we can often look at the property, text you with questions, and follow up without you taking time off.
Do you install gravel driveways?
Yes. We build new gravel driveways and parking pads, and we regrade, widen, and repair existing ones. Every driveway gets a compacted stone base, a proper crown, and drainage so it does not rut or wash out.
What grass is best for a Triangle lawn?
Pennington Signature Series tall fescue is a strong fit for many partly shaded yards. Compadre and Zeon Zoysia, TifTuf and Tifway Bermuda, or centipede can be better for the right sunny site. We look at light, drainage, soil, and how the lawn is used before recommending a grass.
Do you install different varieties of sod?
Yes. Depending on the site and supplier availability, we install Pennington Signature Series tall fescue, Compadre and Zeon Zoysia, TifTuf and Tifway Bermuda, and centipede. The best choice depends on sun, drainage, soil, traffic, and how much winter color you want.
What if you do not offer the specialty service I need?
We handle the core outdoor work listed on this site. For irrigation, tree work, fencing, and other specialty trades outside our scope, we can point you toward trusted local teams and help coordinate the handoff when it makes sense for the project.
Can you fix drainage before installing sod or a patio?
Yes—and that is usually the right order. We trace where water comes from, correct the grade where possible, and add drainage where it is needed before any new lawn or hardscape goes in.
How long before I can use new sod?
Plan on light foot traffic while it roots, usually two to three weeks depending on the season and watering. You will get a simple watering and mowing plan for the first few weeks.
What should I include in my request?
Your address or city, a few photos from different angles, and a sentence or two about what is not working. Gate location, slope, standing water, and anything that affects access is helpful too.
