A gravel driveway that stays put

If the drive ruts or washes out, we rebuild it. You don’t have to figure out the stone.

Ruts mean the stone is gone

Two tracks and grass in the middle usually means the gravel has sunk into the ground or washed downhill. Another thin layer on top does the same thing again. We look at the soft spots and where the water runs. You just show us the drive.

A long driveway out toward Wendell or Zebulon is a different size job than a parking pad in town. Both should stay firm and let water off. A country drive also needs room to turn around.

We rebuild it so it holds

We dig out what failed, shape the drive so water gets off it, and put a solid base under the gravel you see. The edges stay in the driveway instead of spreading into the lawn. If the low end has nowhere for water to go, we take care of that too.

We won’t tear up a section that’s still solid. If it only needs stone and a better shape, that’s the repair.

New drives and extra parking

A new house still sitting on a mud track needs a real driveway. So does a pad by the shop, or room to turn a trailer around. Tell us what you drive on it. A family truck and a piece of equipment are not the same driveway.

A photo from each end is enough

One from the road, one from the house, and a note about where it gets muddy. If water runs down the drive in a storm, a short video helps. We’ll come look before we quote it. Mention a gate or a septic field so we don’t plan across it.

Common questions

Can you fix it without redoing the whole drive?

Often, yes. We rebuild the soft or washed-out parts and leave the rest. If the stone is gone for the whole length, a sprinkle of new gravel won’t hold.

Will it wash out in a hard rain?

Not if the water has a way off the drive. A flat drive, or one that catches the whole yard, will move. We shape it so that doesn’t happen.

Do you build parking pads too?

Yes. A pad by the shop, a turnaround, or a short drive to an outbuilding. Same idea: a surface you can actually drive on.
